Yesterday at 4 PM it was AWESOME to share some prayer time without about 30 Elementers who were able to make it out. We started in the worship center and finished our 96 hour Bible reading. We read the final chapter of Revelation together as a group. I LOVED having the Scriptures read and prayed over our worship center for this month. How awesome to literally spread God’s Word over our church from cover to cover. Some of the prayers in the prayer journal that God moved on to people’s hearts are stirring. LOVE IT! After we read
Revelation 22, we headed out for our Jericho prayer walk. We walked around our property 7 times (1/2 a mile one time around) in the middle of a consistent light rain. Some of our people walked around the building only, others walked inside the church and a large group made the trek around the property. We prayed for LIFE and IMPACT to be offered at our church. We claimed that territory for God. It was inspiring. Had one of our Elementers stopping in various places to pray on their knees. One dad was carrying his son on his shoulders the entire way.
It was really cool. What a GREAT way to end our month on some more focused times of prayer. Already talking about how to keep the focus on prayer continued, and when we could do something like this again! “Lord, make us a people of prayer!”
Till the end,
Jeff
