according to Ephesians 3:20-21:
#1 Too external — Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work WITHIN US,… I need to pray more for what God NEEDS to do IN me not what I WANT Him to do FOR me! We pray to selfishly!
#2 Too small — …to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. … I need to pray more in GOD’S ability and less in MINE! There is no sin so great He can’t forgive. No habit so strong He can’t break. No wound so deep He can’t heal. No task so grand He can’t accomplish it. No hurdle so great he can’t overcome it. We pray too limited!
#3 Too temporal — …Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen. I need to pray more Kingdom focused prayers! So many of my prayers don’t affect eternity. “all generations forever and ever!” We pray to short!
