Hey Element Church! Early Monday morning as I was doing my devotions I really felt strongly that God was leading me a totally different direction for this Sunday’s sermon. We’re in the middle of our core value series called “Heart: What We Bleed” and I knew that if I followed this leading it would be a totally unrelated to the current teaching. I already knew what I was preaching on this week, graphics were done, Adam had worship done but I couldn’t shake the feeling that God wanted us to do this. I ran it by the Lead Team on Monday and they all were in agreement. So, this Sunday we are going to be taking on all this uncertainty surrounding our nation. The elections, the stock market, oil prices, home values, etc. are all we talk about it seems like. We are living in uncertain times but I feel like their are some things we can be certain of. We’re gonna be talking about the Christian response to all these uncertain things we’re facing today. Adam put together a graphic, changed the worship set, we all took on this curve ball well. PLEASE invite people this Sunday to come as I feel we’ll be VERY challenged on how to take on these uncertain days. If you have friends, co-workers or neighbors who have been questioning the days we’re in, this is a perfect invitation moment for you. I believe completely in the timing of God and know that He has asked us to make this change in our plans. We’ll pick up the series next week where we left off.
