Here are the kids in their costumes. We’re going to a church alternative party tonight and then gonna turn our porch light on and hand out candy and invite cards to trick or treaters.

Jaydah is a giraffe.
Mariah is a clown. The kids in her class on Wednesday during their class party made her try to juggle. LOL
Jonah wanted to be dracula. We wouldn’t let him but comprimised on a storm trooper from Star Wars. He looked pretty cool, and has a light sabre to go with it.
Sabrina had a party for her business last night, so it was a daddy night. Daddy night usually means ordering pizza and getting a movie. Tonight though we had hot dogs, macaroni and cheese and cookies. Then we went outside to play some football and is at began getting dark we all gathered on the trampoline to watch the stars come out. Here are a few pics of our evening. The kids loved it.
There was quite a bit of work done today at the building. Check out the pictures below. Several of the walls are now mudded AND now primed. You can’t even tell we built walls now that they are primed. It’s starting to look real. Adam got some more of the sound booth done. They are gong to finish priming tomorrow so texture can go up and painting will start after that.
I think Perry Noble listened to my sermon on Sunday. HA Actually, I’m quite positive he has no idea who I am. BUT, I couldn’t have said better what he says in his post HERE.
Should we research candidates? YES! Is it ok to be passionate about politics? SURE! But can politics save us or our country? NO!
Take advantage of your right to get out and vote next Tuesday. TRUST IN A GOD WHO IS IN CONTROL! And overall, LOVE JESUS, not a political party! By the way, I’ll tell you who I’m voting for. I’m writing in “Grant Clark” for President. “General 08′”

Hey Element Church! I failed to announce this in first service. We are aware that in the Christian circle there are VASTLY different opinions on how we should treat Halloween. (Which is coming up Friday) While some of you completely avoid ANY participation in Halloween events, others do the alternative church activities and even some embrace it. We know not everyone turns their porch light on and offers candy to kids, but if you DO, we have some invite cards made up for you to include with your candy to put in the buckets of trick or treaters who may come to your door. It looks like we’ll be having some very nice weather, AND, it falls on a Friday night which means more kids will be out. If you want to take advantage of these kids coming to your door and invite them to church we have a TON of themed invite cards for kids when they come to your door. Please come by the office and pick up a handful to give out on Friday night. Our office is at 600 E Carlson Ave. We want to leverage EVERY opportunity we have to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus. Why not on Halloween?

Had something VERY cool happen on Saturday at the building. A couple from Element Church who is dating happened to stop in to see the progress. We were carrying some sound panels to storage, came back through the worship center and there they were in the middle of an embrace. We gave them a hard time and then he said “She just said YES!” He thought it there was no better place to ask her to marry him than at “their church”. How cool is that? Thought it was a great idea. He had told me earlier that he wanted to ask her at church. Had NO idea that is what he was going to do. I took their picture to capture the moment forever. Great job man!
Hey Element Church! I want to challenge any of you Elementers who are regular attenders to do something that would really help us. We’ve been having some first time guests being put in the video venue and we’d love to avoid that. If you are already committed to Element and can put up with worship and ME on video for 3 – 4 more weeks, we’d greatly appreciate it. Any seats that are open in the live service are VERY valuable to our first time guests. SO, there is the challenge. Please try to open up seats for us. I think we may start needing the video venue in first service too. We’ll see. We are on target for November 23rd in the building. We talked to the electricians today and they are on target. Drywallers were in today and on target. Continue to pray that God would grant us favor with the city and labor as well to get in on target. Thanks to those of you who will give up your seat for a few weeks.

Here are the latest pictures of the new location. So excited at the progress happening there. ALL the major sheetrock is done. Mud and tape is going up. They will start texturing today and then paint will begin this weekend. The electricians continue to work at getting everything ready. Enjoy the pictures

We had one name added to our name board today and it’s especially significant cause it was added by my son Jonah. Jonah came running to me and said “Hey Dad! You know those name board thingies? I added my friend (name) to it.” I asked him why and he said “Because he doesn’t love God or go to church anywhere.” I gave Jonah a hug and told him how proud I was for him to do that. At our evevning family devotion time tonight Jonah prayed an awesome prayer for his friend. It was very cool.
