Hey Element Church! 10 Days in and 18 to go as we join in One Prayer. Today’s prayer is “Lord make us compassionate!” Please pray for the churches on the calendar as well. Today’s Bible reading is Acts 10. You can read it online HERE.
Acts 10:2 — Another cool thing to be said about you. “He was a devout, God fearing man, as was everyone in his household. He gave generously to the poor and prayed regularly to God.”
Acts 10:15 — I think this statement was more than about JUST food. “Do not call something unclean if God has made it clean.” Peter was about to go into someones home (Cornelius) that according to his Jewish custom it was “unclean” for him to do. But God had made Cornelius CLEAN!
Acts 10:26 — Again we see the change in Peter. Someone bowed at his feet yet he didn’t want ANY accolades. “I’m just a man like you!”
Acts 10:35 — God accepts ANYONE who fears Him and does what is right.
Acts 10:36 — There is peace with God through Jesus. Isn’t that good news?
